LAUTECH Debunks Closure Rumours, Says Academic Activities Ongoing
Ogbomoso, Oyo State – The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has dismissed widespread reports suggesting that the institution has been shut down over security concerns in Oyo State.
The university described the claims as false and misleading, assuring students, parents, and members of the public that academic activities remain uninterrupted across the campus.
The clarification followed the circulation of reports alleging that the institution was considering a closure due to fears of insecurity and possible attacks by criminal elements in parts of the state. However, university authorities have maintained that there is no such directive and that students are continuing with their examinations and other academic engagements as scheduled.
