𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed 39-year-old Professor Segun Aina as the new Registrar of JAMB, succeeding Professor Is-haq Oloyede whose tenure ends July 31, 2026.
Prof. Aina, a Computer Engineering expert from Obafemi Awolowo University, becomes the youngest Registrar in JAMB history.
The appointment signals a possible new era of digital transformation, examination reforms, and stronger technology-driven systems in Nigeria’s education sector.
Many Nigerians are already reacting positively due to his youthful energy, ICT background, and experience in institutional reforms.
However, expectations will also be very high because his predecessor, Prof. Oloyede, left behind a strong legacy of transparency and accountability at JAMB.
